Proposed Qualified Action Plan for Nebraska Intern NE Grant Program

Public comment period being held on Proposed 2013-2015 Qualified Action Plan for the State of Nebraska InternNE Grant Program

LINCOLN, NEB. (September 3, 2013)— The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) will conduct a public comment period September 4–18, 2013 to take remarks of citizens regarding the proposed 2013-2015 Qualified Action Plan for the State of Nebraska InternNE Grant Program (“Qualified Action Plan”).  The InternNE Grant Program is authorized in Nebraska Revised Statutes at §§81-1210.01 to 81-1210.03. The Qualified Action Plan sets forth the Department’s priorities and selection criteria for awarding grants as well as strategies for affirmatively marketing internships to Nebraska students in high schools, colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher education in Nebraska.
