Connecting IT Talent with Job Opportunities - Deadline February 8th!

The Greater Omaha Chamber invites your company to be part of something exciting.

There are approximately 200 talented, experienced IT professionals entering the job market in late spring 2016 and you have the opportunity to meet them. Join us on March 8, 2016 to connect this talent with job opportunities at your company.

Interested companies need to register by February 8.  The opportunity is limited to the first 30 companies to register and the cost is based upon the number of IT openings your company is currently looking to fill.

Speed interviews, direct engagement and talent networking
March 8, 2016
8:00 am – 6:30 pm

Speed Interviews – 8 am to 3:30 pm

One company representative will participate in speed interviews throughout the day. Your company is guaranteed 24 interviews with mid-to-high level IT talent.

Company Engagement Expo – 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Up to three additional company representatives on site to meet with candidates, hand out information and directly connect with even more professionals.

Tech Networking – 4:30 to 6:30 pm

Help us wrap up the day with a little networking. Reconnect with talent you talked to earlier in the day. Connect with new folks you didn’t get the chance to meet…all over a cold beverage. 


In addition…

  1. Participating employers will complete a job opportunities survey. The submitted information will be provided to all impacted employees.
  2. Participating employers will be invited to a webinar with Gerrit Schutte (SVP and CIO) and Mindy Simon (VP IT Consumer Products) of ConAgra Foods to learn more about the diverse technical skills, cross-functional experiences and abilities of this talent.
    • Former titles include but are not limited to: Business Systems Analyst, Systems & Network Administrators, Business Systems Analysts, Data Center Specialists, Business SME, Information Technology Manager, Plant Systems & Network Administration, Data Warehouse Administrators, SAP Systems Engineer, Desktop Support Analyst, Enterprise Applications Analyst, IT Project Managers and more.
  3. Talent (IT job seekers) will be asked to complete a skill/experience survey. This information will be collected and provided to participating employers.

Remember to register by February 8. 

Cost:
$500 per company hiring 1-4 positions
$1,000 per company hiring 5 or more positions
