Fremont Chamber Passes Resolution to Support Costco Project

Fremont, Neb. – (Apr. 18, 2016) Today the Fremont Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors unanimously voted to approve a resolution supporting CostCo’s proposed poultry processing plant, previously known as Project Rawhide.

Dodge County is a livestock friendly jurisdiction and is deeply rooted in agriculture. The Fremont Chamber supports the significant job creation and investment in capital for the area. This opportunity creates diversification for farmers looking for ways to grow their farm. The proposed project would support the existing economic infrastructure and add industrial diversification.

Therefore, the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors pledges to support the responsible development of CostCo’s proposed poultry plant and work alongside all development partners to realize the best possible outcomes for the company and the community.
