The Greater Fremont region is proud of its healthcare offerings. Located in Fremont are Fremont Health Medical Center and Three Rivers Public Health Department. Fremont Health employes 45 doctors, 200 volunteers, and recently completed a $42 million expansion. The renovations added a 20-bed behavioral medicine program, and updated 60 patient care rooms, and more.

Three Rivers Public Health Department was one of two health departments nationally recognized to receive a grant from the CDC. The grant, called the Flu on Call Grant, will fund a program that allows people in the Three Rivers district to call a 24-hour toll-free number for information about the flu.
