State of Nebraska Recruiting and Referral Services
A business can post a job order with Nebraska Department of Labor. Department of Labor staff will assist you in the job posting application and interview process; refer qualified candidates; provide job seekers your company application forms and search the NEWorks database of more than 65,000 applicants for job seekers who may have the skills, training and experience to match your job opening. Department of Labor also offers Career Compass, an easy to use Internet tool designed to give users comprehensive occupational information for the state and regions within the state. You can identify occupational characteristics to aid in posting jobs and developing job descriptions, compare wages offered at the “going rate” in your region, and expand job recruitment by looking for employees in related occupations.
A variety of methods are available to assist businesses in the recruitment and screening processes at our colleges and universities. The Nebraska College Career Services Association represents professionals from two-year and four-year colleges and universities who aid students in their career development, including searches for internships and employment. Members cooperate to help employers access future and recent graduates.
