2018 Annual Report

Year 4 of Fremont 2020, our five-year strategic plan, ventured us into places that were non-traditional while still holding true to existing visioning that has continued to provide a stable impact on the future of Fremont and Dodge County. We have sustained a very stable business attraction activity level, through partnerships and local lead generation. We have remained focused on our targeted industry focus (animal food manufacturing and wood, metal, and plastics manufacturing). The foundation of renewed activity in quality of life and housing projects have continued with projects like

  • Morningside Crossing
  • Morningside Pointe
  • Deer Pointe
  • Gallery 23 East
  • SunRidge Place

2018 gave us a window into the future and showcased Fremont, GFDC leadership and staff as trailblazers an leaders in the state and National rural economic activities. As we continue to strive to achieve the goals of our current vision, which cannot be achieved without the partnership found in our many investors, municipal partners, and private collaborations, we continually seek to plant new seeds of opportunity and growth for the future.
