Fed Official: Nebraska needs skilled workforce, young entrepreneurs

KearneyHub.com reports Jason Henderson of the Kansas City Federal Reserve's Omaha office told a Kearney audience this week that while Nebraska's economy remains sound, "the bigger question is how can Nebraska attract and retain people to start new businesses, fill new jobs and create a vision for the Nebraska economy?" Henderson said: "Here in Nebraska right now, we have one of the top 10 economies nationwide," but "are we in a bubble?" Henderson urged Kearney to "build a high-quality workforce" with better skills and "support young entrepreneurs who are gambling with change."
