Unique partnership lets students explore manufacturing jobs

The average manufacturing worker in the U.S. earned over $77,000 in 2013. And the average age of these workers is 50. As baby boomers retire, this seems like a great opportunity for younger generations. But will younger generations have the skills to succeed in manufacturing jobs?

They will if they participate in the “Dream It! Do It! Fremont” workforce program, a partnership between Fremont Public Schools, Metropolitan Community College and several local manufacturers!
