Stephanie Schurkamp

Stephanie Schurkamp is Greater Fremont Development Council’s Director of Operations.  She will be overseeing the day to day operations of the office, supporting the staff, and assisting with marketing activities.

Stephanie was the Director of Business Services at GFDC from 2019 to 2020 where she focused on supporting business retention and expansion, while also deepening the relationship between GFDC and the business community.  She is very excited to be returning to GFDC as the Operations Manager.

Stephanie found herself wanting to reconnect with the Fremont community and getting back into economic development efforts, so she was thrilled with the opportunity to return to GFDC.

She was born and raised in Fremont and graduated from Midland University with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating on management.  Her background is in Accounting, Banking, and Project Administration.  Stephanie is also an active member and Board Treasurer of CASA of the Midlands. 

Stephanie is thrilled to be joining the GFDC team.  When asked why she wanted to return, she said “The Fremont community is home for me.  I love seeing Fremont’s growth and wanted to contribute to the efforts.”
