Johnson City Medical Center

Johnson City Medical Center, a 445-bed tertiary referral center and one of Tennessee's five Level 1 Trauma Centers, has been serving the region since 1911. As an acute-care teaching hospital affiliated with East Tennessee State University, it provides advanced surgical services, including orthopedics and neurosurgery, supported by a 43-bed ICU. The center also features specialized units for cardiac, neurological, and trauma patients, a leading cancer center, and a heart center. Accredited by The Joint Commission, JCMC is home to the region's largest emergency medical air ambulance fleet.
