The Welstead Fund Small Business Startup Loan is designed to provide small loans to startups, newly established, and/or growing businesses. This loan can be utilized for real estate improvements, equipment, working capital, or start-up costs.

This fund was named after the late Marvin Welstead, a Fremont advocate and co-founder of the GFDC, whose vision was to see the Fremont area grow and small businesses thrive!

And our recent partnership with the Fremont Creative Collective, Fremont’s entrepreneur amplifying group, is helping us reach even more entrepreneurs and small businesses. Through this partnership, we have been able to offer an additional 6 free small business learning sessions covering:
