Fremont Inland Port: Rail Infrastructure Strategic Partnership Opportunity

The City of Fremont and Dodge County have partnered to establish the Fremont Municipal Inland Port Authority District. This 1,500-acre greenfield site is strategically located, bordered by the Union Pacific Railroad and a 4-lane divided highway, making it a prime location for industrial development. The site is fully zoned and ready to support industrial use.

The Fremont Municipal Inland Port Authority & the Greater Fremont Development Council invite qualified firms and organizations to submit proposals in response to this comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) for a strategic partner to support the development of the Fremont Inland Port.

This RFP seeks a partner to help finance, operate, and co-market the rail infrastructure that will serve as a critical component of the Inland Port. The selected partner will play a key role in establishing Fremont as a regional hub for multimodal transportation, logistics, and economic growth.
