Between 2016 and 2023, Fremont households experienced remarkable income growth, reflecting the community’s economic strength and resilience. According to the American Community Survey (ACS 5-Year Estimates), median household income in Fremont grew by nearly 40 percent, the highest among comparable Nebraska communities, including Columbus, Hastings, Norfolk, Kearney, and Grand Island.

  • Median household income rose from $48,056 in 2016 to $67,179 in 2023, a 39.8 percent increase.
  • Average household income climbed from $60,160 to $80,867, reflecting a 34 percent gain.
