It's important to make connections.
And a new group hopes to help area women make those connections. So on Sept. 15, Fremont Women's Connection will have a kick-off event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Clarion Inn, 1220 E. 23rd St.
Nebraska Public Service Commissioner Anne Boyle will speak on "How Did It Get Here - It Started at Home!" Appetizers and beverages will be served. Cost is $10 per ticket for this event or $25 for this occasion along with two future events. The public is invited.
