The heavy lifting to date has been conducted behind the scenes through zoning matters, creating a site master plan and preliminary plat, and a massive marketing effort in search of the data center that officials hope will be the catalyst for the park’s development.
“We have to be patient,” Heim said, “and that’s true in all of economic development, but in really honing in on something this specific … we’ve got to be ready, and then after you’re ready, it doesn’t just happen immediately, but I’m confident that it will happen.
