Did you know that 50 percent of U.S. products require welding? It’s no wonder there’s an increased demand for skilled welders. From cars to bridges and buildings, welding is an integral piece of construction.
Fremont, Nebraska is proactively responding to this need for welders through a unique public-private partnership that involves Fremont Public Schools, Metropolitan Community College and Valmont Industries. They teamed up to develop a welding program with a state-of-the-art lab. The program is available to high school students and community members too.
