Even though Fremont is located over a thousand miles from either coast, we can still offer some fun in the sun at our local beaches.
The best beaches in Fremont are found nearby at our Fremont State Lakes. With over 40 land acres and nearly 300 water acres, Fremont State Lakes Recreation offers all the pleasures of the beach experience, including sunbathing, picnics, and of course, swimming. For those less fascinated with sand, the Fremont State Lakes area also offers great camping, boating, and fishing - all within jogging distance of the city via trails that connect the city to the park
