KEARNEY – Small business owners, do you feel like it’s tough to reach your target market? Do you wish you could expand to the global marketplace? You can. The tools are at your fingertips, and the road to success starts at MarkeTECH.

GROW Nebraska’s annual MarkeTECH Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at the Ramada Inn in Kearney. This conference focuses on harnessing marketing and technology to make a greater impact in the global marketplace, and it includes training on eCommerce, website development, email marketing and social media platforms like Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook. Don’t just learn from trainers; hear the perks and pitfalls of these tools from business owners who are already using them.

Now in its fifth year, MarkeTECH consistently provides marketing and technology training pertinent to the needs of Nebraska’s small businesses. After MarkeTECH 2013, Mary Lee Olson from Opa-O’s No Sodium Spices said “There were tons of good ideas, lots of inspiration and practical things that I could take back and put into practice right away. Constant Contact was the highlight, but there were so many things I learned. Things that make you go ‘wow!’ and want to get to work.” MarkeTECH 2014 promises to expand on these past successes.

Registration is available at GROWNebraska.org, and this conference is open to both member and non-member businesses. Attendees will hear from motivational speakers, marketing experts and successful entrepreneurs, and they will be able to select a training track that best suits their individual business needs. Harnessing this technology can allow Nebraska entrepreneurs to live in Anywhere, NE and make a sustainable living.
