Agriculture has been rapidly changing with technology, and Fremont recognized early on the great opportunities possible in the value-added agriculture industry.
Fremont is focused on attracting the value-added ag industry due to the industry’s strong potential for growth. Newly attracted ag businesses include Brothers Feed Service and Butler Ag (who recently opened their first Nebraska location).
Such businesses are succeeding and giving back to our community! Fremont Beef Co. is expanding their facilities with a $10.6 million capital investment that will create an additional 25 jobs. In 2013, Petersen Ag Systems was named Nebraska Small Business of the Year. Read more: http://ow.ly/CVGSi
