A new development on the northeast side of Fremont will bring a variety of new stores to consumers this fall.
The “Shoppes in Fremont,” located on East 23rd Street just west of Pump and Pantry, are set to open Sept. 1.
Victor Pelster, vice president of NAI NP Dodge, which is spearheading the marketing of the site, said CATO, Rue 21, Hibbett Sports and Game Stop will open stores in the 18,000 square foot six-bay strip mall.
All four stores are well established chains with locations in other parts of Nebraska, but are new to Fremont.
Rue 21, a specialty apparel retailer, has three Omaha area and one each in Norfolk and Lincoln location, as well as others in central and western Nebraska. Both CATO, a women’s fashion store, and Game Stop have locations in Omaha and Lincoln, as well as locations in central and western Nebraska. Hibbett Sports, which caters to small and mid-size markets, has its closest current store in Columbus.
